Broke my drumsticks…2b’s…after like a month…not too bad.
Need a new pair…desperately, having to use 7’s and play light stuff/not my normal style is killing me… i mean, fun flirty rolls are fun, but…2bn’s just…feel amazing…

God damnit, i’m way too addicted to punk. gives me so much fucking energy, i drum along in my head, on my legs, with my arms, i sing to myself, i listen when i fucking shower, i listen when im bored.
i just stopped what i was doing cause i had a chord floating in my head and had to listen to it, that was about 40 minutes ago and i’ve been listening to music since.
Some early green day, for some reason a fob song was thrown in.
Some against me, which is fucking typical
Some dead to me and a cobra skulls song
And a shit ton of flatliners.
I’ve been listening to way too much flatliners…like way too much, it’s…great, i fucking love it, i saw em 3 times in a week when they came out and after i see a band i normally listen to em way too much (fyi, toured with strike anywhere, who were ok, fun to listen to and mosh to, but didn’t grab me, despite being solid. and anti-flag, who i actually decided to go for, seeing as im over 18….had to wait since i was like…11 when dad brought me terror state, so…nearly a decade…was epic, i’d say worth the wait, but i wish i’d seen em earlier.)

anyways, yeah, i was ocd about…against me, dead to me and now cobra….
with some flicking on others

basically ocd about music….punk stuff esp.

Side note…Against me were the band i first got mega into and Tom gabel was like…my idol for the last 5 or so years (along with tre cool), the fact he’s now Laura jane grace is fucking incredible and she’s still an absolutely epic hero to me.

Tre cool was the guy who did the most to get me into drumming, greenday were the first band i saw live (well, mcr and jew first, but they were supports, and i love them both, but dont count them as firsts), so…seeing as i brought nimrod when i was like 5…i guess greenday were the first band i “liked” (starts playing nimrod), flats was playing while i typed.

er… i think that’s it really… :L

i had other stuff to type, but i forget/have forgotten/i just went for a jog for some reason and forgot what i was gonna say/i have way too much fucking energy at the wrong times.

Also, dad was a punk…so yeah, i do love DK’s, Pistols, crass, siouxe, black flag and…the clash, fuck yes the clash. plus, i have all of his old records, which is epic.

also…side note, i just turned 20, so to really piss off some people…
Early blink/rancid/greenday is all old school to me (greenday and rancid are older then me and have been big since before i was 1, blink have been big since i was like…7)
